DIGIGRIPPER at Berlin

New set-up at Berlin! Here DIGIGRIPPER is fixed on the wall. But this time we used spacer, so the backside remains visible.

Although everything was running hundred percent stable last time in Swiss, I decided to replace more of the handhold and step elements with modules made out of GRP.

Walking Around

video

In this video (shot in Basel) one can have a look at both sides of DIGIGRIPPER in action.

In Context

In the exhibition "Monkey Up" DIGIGRIPPER is presented in context with my other works. Especially the brand new video installation "MONKEY_UP" (by Catrine Val) examines the contrast between body and pixel in a collage of parkour
sequences with elements out of computer games.

Preparation for next exhibition

Last week I have visited DIGIGIPPER in its storage. One of the cargo boxes was damaged on the long way back from Palma de Mallorca. Luckily every thing worked fine, on a test run. Now DIGIGRIPPER is prepared for the next show in Basel. There it will be challenged by a sweet little mouse, which is climbing through the maze of "Spielotop".
